According to SASSA, the double payment in September is meant for beneficiaries in the following categories:

September 2025 Payment Dates
Double payments will take place following the September schedule:
- Older Persons Grants: 22 September 2025
- Disability Grants: 23 September 2025
- Children’s Grants: 24 September 2025
