September Application Procedure
SASSA has made it easier to apply, both online and in person. The steps are:
- Gather your documents – South African ID, proof of residence, and bank account details.
- Make an application from the SASSA portal online, or visit the nearest SASSA office.
- Submit the form and documents for consideration.
- Follow up on the status of the application provided that reference number.
Upon approval, funds are subsequently paid out monthly into a bank account of choice or through Postbank or pay-out points.
